The following sets out the arrangements for DETERMINANT physical stores during adverse weather conditions.
For DETERMINANT online shop, we operate as usual no matter the weather. However, in case that parcel shipping is delayed because of rain or other conditions, our logistic partner (SF Express) will contact you via text message directly.
1. Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning; Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1 or No.3
DETERMINANT stores will operate as usual.
2. Black Rainstorm Warning
If the warning is hoisted during the operating hours, DETERMINANT stores will operate as usual. Please refer to the above arrangement under Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning; Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1 or No.3.
If the signal is in effect prior to the opening of the stores, the stores will delay opening for an approximately 2 hours after the signal is lowered. If the signal is cancelled less than 5 hours before the normal closing time, the stores will remain closed.
For example, the normal closing time of one of our stores is 10pm. If the Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered at/before 5pm, the store will open within 2 hours (at 7pm). If the Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered after 5pm, the stores will remain closed.
3. Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above
If the warning is hoisted during the operating hours, our stores will be closed immediately. Customer should pay attention to the latest weather information issued by the Observatory or to our latest announcement on Facebook/ Instagram.
If the signal is in effect prior to the opening of the stores, the stores will delay opening for an approximately 2 hours after the signal is lowered. If the signal is cancelled less than 5 hours before the normal closing time, the stores will remain closed.
For example, the normal closing time of one of our stores is 10pm. If the Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above is lowered at/before 5pm, the store will open within 2 hours (at 7pm). If the Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above is lowered after 5pm, the stores will remain closed.
4. Customer Service under Adverse Weather Conditions
When Amber/ Red Rainstorm Warning or Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1/No.3 is issued, customer service team will provide support to customers as usual.
When Black Rainstorm Warning, Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above is issued, our customer service may be temporarily impacted. Customer should pay attention to the latest weather information issued by the Observatory or to our latest announcement on Facebook/ Instagram. Even when the signal is lowered, customer is suggested to contact our stores via phone before visiting (Store Contacts).
The operation conditions of each store may be changed according to shopping mall's arrangement.
