IMPORTANT NOTE: VIP Tier Calculation Rule - Explanation

As we prepare for the launch of our new loyalty program on 3rd September, 2025, please note the following:

The accumulated amount spent before 3rd September 2025, will reset to 0. However, the points you had before 3rd September 2025, will remain and expire on 3rd September 2026.The calculation of the 5-year rolling spending will start when a member makes their first purchase.

If you've shopped with us before, please sign up using the same email address as your previous orders.

Any member tiers? How can I become a member? 

To become a BLUE card member, there is no minimum spending requirement. 

To become a GOLD card member, you must spend HKD 3,000 or more in the last 5 years by using a single membership account.  

To become a PLATINUM card member, you must spend HKD 6,000 or more in the last 5 years by using a single membership account. 

What benefits can I expect after being a member? 

GOLD Tier (HK$ 3,000 spending or more in the last 5 years)

  • 75 DETDollars on your first upgrade to the GOLD tier.
  • Earn 75 DETDollars for every HK$ 1,000 spent.
  • Special birthday rewards during your birthday month.

PLATINUM Tier (HK$ 6,000 spending or more in the last 5 years)

  • 100 DETDollars on your first upgrade to the PLATINUM tier.
  • Earn 100 DETDollars for every HK$ 1,000 spent.
  • Special birthday rewards during your birthday month.

Note: All discounts above are NOT stackable with any other in-shop offers (e.g., BUNDLE offers or SALE items).

How to use my DETDollars?

Every valid 1 DETDollar is redeemable for HKD 1 of discount voucher. There is no upper limit on maximum redemption.

Once redeemed, you will receive a one-time discount code with a designated value from your points redeemed. Please use within 30 days before it expires.  

Do my DETDollars expire? 

DETDollars expire 1 year from the time they are earned.

How can I check my DETDollars balance? 

You can check your DETDollars balance and reward history by logging onto your account. 

What should I do if I encounter issues redeeming my DETDollars?

Any physical VIP card? 

There is NO physical card distributing to customers.

Can I receive DETDollars for purchases not from DETERMINANT online store and offline stores? 

You will only receive DETDollars upon purchase at our official online store and offline stores . If you suspect the DETDollars are not reflected on your account respectively, please contact our customer service team at CS.HK@detshirts. Come within 30 days after your purchase

Do I get DETDollars from the shipping or tax amount as well? 

Regrettably we do not reward any DETDollars relevant to the amount of tax and shipping.

Why are the rewards not reflected immediately when I have provided my birthday month?  

Minimum 1-2 working days required for verification after signing up the birthday information for a new account, please wait patiently. 

Will there still be birthday rewards after the loyalty program revamp?

Yes, birthday rewards will be sent to your email personally on the first day of your birthday month.

What will happen to my previous membership tier after the loyalty program revamp?

With the switch to the new loyalty program, your latest membership tier will remain.

How will my existing DETDollars or rewards be affected by the loyalty program revamp?

Existing DETDollars will be extended for 12 months and will expire on 3rd September, 2026, one year after the revamp of our loyalty program.

What happens if I shop in other currencies? 

Our system is primarily designed around HKD. If you shop in another currency, we will convert your spending to the equivalent in HKD and reward you accordingly. 

What happens if I return/refund/exchange an order? 

When you return or refund an order entirely, the points you earned associated with that order will be immediately deducted. For example, if you make a purchase for HK$ 100 worth of product but return the entire order, the 5 DETDollars you earned will be deducted when we confirm your return or refund. 

When you return an order partially, the points you earned associated with that item will be deducted when we confirm your return or refund. For example, if you return HK$ 20 worth of product from an order of HK$ 100, 1 DETDollars will be deducted eventually from this order. 

When you exchange for a product, the point balance will be reflected once the exchange is completed according to potential monetary value differences of exchanged products.

I can’t log into my account... 

If you have successfully registered an account before, click “forgot password?” on account page you will receive an email to reset your password. If the email is not found, it may mean that your provided email address has not been registered as an account and we recommend you create an account. 

I want to delete my account... 

Please email our customer service team at [email protected] and let us know that you would like to delete your account. Please note that all account details deleted are not retrievable afterwards. 

I have several accounts, can I merge them? 

Please email your email addresses to our customer service team at [email protected]. We will reach out to you to arrange further. Please note that the merger is not reversible. 

This return and refund policy (the “Return and Refund Policy”) shall be applicable to the products of DETERMINANT (HONG KONG) LIMITED (“we”, “our”, “us”, or “DETERMINANT (HK) Ltd”) you purchased on the Shopify online platform (the “Platform”, and such products, the “Products”). 

Please read and understand this Return and Refund Policy before purchase the Products and when you make any return and refund.

  • Please note that only Products purchased via the Platform can be returned. This Return and Refund Policy is not applicable to products that you purchased through other platforms, e.g. our retail stores or other online sales platform.
  • You may return the Products delivered to you if the conditions set out herein are met. Unless there is a product quality issue, only one exchange is allowed per order.
  • We reserve the right to make the final decision in case of dispute.

 

Return of Product

  • No Products are eligible for return after thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt.
  • You will be responsible for all the shipping charges for the return Products UNLESS the Products is delivered to and returned from Hong Kong and Macau. Please settle the shipping charges BEFORE submitting the return, or the parcel will be sent back to you at your cost.
  • We recommend that you insure your package for safe return to us. You should declare to the courier company the full value, or other value as instructed by your courier company, of the shipment. You must follow the requirements of your courier company (and /or insurance company, if applicable) for any shipment and insurance matters so that you are protected in case your shipment is lost or damaged in transit. Otherwise, the insurance coverage will be affected, and you may need to bear the loss of or damage to the Products during shipping. For the avoidance of doubt, you expressly agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any risk of damage to or loss of the Products in the course of return.
  • You must provide the following for return:
  1. the items you requested for return;
  2. a copy of the invoice; and
  3. tracking number of shipment.

Items available for return

  • The Products must be unworn, unwashed and in a resalable condition.
  • All related accessories, including any warranty card, package insert, the bags and package box etc., must be included with your return.
  • All the authenticity tags and labels such as washing label must be still attached as original (no tearing, disassembly); the product itself has no graffiti and stains.
  • No used items can be returned.
  • Returned items that have been damaged, soiled, washed, worn or altered will be returned to the you at your cost.
  • Due to hygiene reasons, masks and mask accessories (including but not limited to mask envelopes) can be returned only if it is related to product quality issues.

 

Refund time

For the returned Products, once we confirm that the return conditions and requirements are met, we will refund the actual payment within 4 business days after receiving the returned Product(s), but:

  • We have the right to deduct the partial refund amount if your returned Products were bought together with other Products to enjoy our quantity-based or monetary amount-based promotions or offers; 
  • We have the right to deduct the shipping fee from your refund amount if your returned Products were bought together with other merchandise to enjoy a free shipping promotion.
  • The amount of refund will be credited in the same format as the original form of payment if possible. If such format is not available, we may process the refund via other channels, and you may need to provide additional information to complete the refund process.
  • Unless otherwise stipulates by law, the original order’s shipping fee and taxes, if any, are non-refundable.
  • The time of receipt of the refund depends on different refund methods. The time of actual refund to your account depends on different banks or payment platform operations. It may take up to 10-15 business days. If the return does not meet the return conditions or requirements, we will contact you and return the Product(s) to you at your cost.

 

Exchange of Product

  • For product exchange, please follow the same return procedures as indicated in the section of Return of Product. Once we confirm that the return conditions and requirements are met, we will arrange our hub to send out the new exchange item(s) in 2 working days.
  • When sending back the products to be replaced, it is necessary to write the exchange order number on the delivery slip or a piece of paper along with the package, or else you would have the sole responsibility of bearing the risk of product exchange.
  • The new exchanged item(s) will be sent to the delivery address on the original order; if there is any change, please contact our CS team in advance.
  • Items purchased at other platforms, e.g. our retail stores and other online platforms, cannot be exchanged under this Return and Refund Policy.

 

Return and Exchange EXCLUSIONS

Orders or purchases under below conditions will NOT be accepted for return nor exchange under any circumstances.

  • Products not sold through the Platform;
  • Products that are bought during specific offers or promotional events which explicitly state that return or exchange is not allowed;
  • Products that are redeemed on sponsored campaigns (e.g. Free Gift or Gift With Purchase)
  • Products that are on SALE page
  • Customized products without quality problem;
  • Masks and mask accessories (including but not limited to mask envelopes), whether used or not, without quality problem;
  • Where the Product is used, washed, processed (e.g. altered size), soiled or damaged, or the logo on the Product is cut or the Product is not in re-sale condition;
  • Where the electronic invoice or order number issued at the time of purchase is lost;
  • Orders that exceed the return / exchange period;
  • Orders placed at our offline retail locations will only be available for exchange but not refund nor return
  • Orders purchased with DETERMINANT Gift Card(s) as payment method
  • Products that are clearly indicated with defects at the time of purchase, and then returned or exchanged with defective reasons; and
  • Other circumstances in which the consumer has no right to return / exchange according to this policy and the applicable law.
